COMUNICATO FLORENCE TATTOO CONVENTION

Florence Tattoo Convention 2013
The 8th , 9th and 10th November 2013 the ancient Fortezza da Basso of Florence will host more than 300 world-renowned tattoo artists, shows and eclectic musicians who will enchant an audience of curious and urban fashions lovers in a three-day event out of the ordinary.
Florence looks forward to the sixth edition of the Florence Tattoo Convention. In the wake of the resounding success of previous editions, the association Firenze Indelebile will present the best of the international scene in the world of tattoo and body piercing.
The event will take place in the large lower floor of the pavilion Spadolini and will be presented as usual by Leela Huma who, with the diverse and unique company, "Huma Show Entertainment" is going to delight audiences with original performances and introduce the artists invited to represent U.S.A, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, China, Canada, Tahiti, Mexico and most of the european states.
Many will be the big names, among which are true masters of tattoo that will perform real works of art on the skin of loyal customers using traditional instruments. It is the case to quote Colin Dale, who is going to present the Inuit tecnique sewing the skin with needle and thread, Masaharu kedowaky from Horiyoshi family and Ryugen two of the leading exponents of the Japanese Tattoo Irezumi, Lupo Horiokami and Ouka from rat-skill tattoo studio masters of the Tebori technique, Vatea and Brent Mccown keepers of the new-zeland hand tapping.
It is impossible to ignore other big stars of international tattoo scene as Leon Lam, Maximo Lutz, Dmitriy Samohin, Dani Martos, Denis Sivak, Aaron Coleman, Juan Gonzales, Lalo Pena, Andrea Afferni, Alex Gotza, Kostas Tzikalagias, Alexander Sudorov, Yomico Moreno, the artists of the serial tv Milano city ink and Marco Galdo as well as the representatives of the fair sex Genziana, Morg and Laura Juan that have nothing to envy to male colleagues.
Again this year, tattoo artists and the public will be able to participate in the seminars.
Billi Murran offers the second part of the workshop on realism, while Justin Wilson presents for the first time a symposium on the lettering.
Do not miss the exhibition session well-kept inside the event starting from the effective and shocking form of contemporary art presented by Huma Entertainment Show "Human Installation 0: Chrysalis" (Kyrahm and Julius Kaiser), in which a human being will be locked up in a cocoon for 27 hours with web link and real monitoration of the heartbeat.
In addition, the rising star Andrea Lanzi aka ANTIKORPO, who with "Step" will involve the public in a process of reflection that unites the three senses hearing, sight and smell, and Gallo and Raffa who propose "By all Means Necessary" in which international tattoo artists will pay homage to the underground favorite band on a style Lp canvas.
Studio 21 Tattoo and Art Gallery is back with the collective "Plurale femminile", wich focus on all manifestations of existence for women who can only express themselves through art, and the third edition of "State of Grace", presents a collection of works of some of the tattooists present in convention among which Roberto Lauro with the introspective and dark realistic "Mille aspetti di uno scenario spento" and Federico Costantini with its erotic digressions.
Rich content of the photographic section, with Clod The Ripper series that presents the brilliant "13 victims of the serial-tattooist" and Mattia Pirrone who proposes a report on the tribal tattoos of Borneo.
Great expectations for the performances of Sana xxx, outstanding performer of contemporary dance Butoh originated in Japan in the 50s, and the team from Huma Entertainment show: Rita Lynch and her spicy burlesque show, the synchronic dance of Sheyla and Valentina, the electric violin played by Era, the extemporaneous art
exhibitions of Madame Decadent, the bondage shibari style with the Quarta corda and the show of body modification by Alexandre Fuser.
Finally every night DJ sets, concerts and typical Tuscan cuisine will be the backdrop to the event that every year opens its doors to more than 10,000 spectators..
